General Provident Fund (Central Services) Rules. Question as to why in rule 23(2) (1) of the--- has been prescribed that a policy should be reassigned to the person legally entitled to receive it and not to the person who on the face of it appears to be entitled to it. Reassignment of endowment policies expressed on the face of them to be for the benefit of the assured wife and or children. (Case of Shrimati Dauli widow of Mr. G. D. Mesawat).
