Consent under the provison to clause 5 (1) of the Govt. of India (Commencement and Transitory Provisions) Order, 1936 of the Governor General in his discretion to the authorisation by the Governor of the United Provinces of expenditure for 1937-38 to the extent of over Rs. 72 lakhs in excess of one-half of the revised estimates for the year 1936-37.
