Grant of a pension of Rs. 2-12 a month to Mussammat Zamani Begum, widow of Sowar Zamin Ali late of the 3rd Bengal Cavalry who died while on famine duty from disease connected with the service and not the results of his own imprudence and question whether the Military Department can sanction family pensions in similar cases without reference to this Department.
