To Lt. Coll. Farguhar Resident - Acquainting that Mr. Gillon late Master of the Brig Adventure having made a further representation of his case - The circumstances therein stated satisfy Government that Mr. Gillon should have an oppotunity of applying in the proper quarter for redress - The Governor General in Council therefore cannot sanction his departure from India unitl he shall have given satisfactory security to answer to the complaint which that person may prefer against him in a competent Court of Justice.
