With reference to this Office No.847, dated the 3rd instant, conveying the sanction of the Governor General to Mr. H.B. Medlicott`s undertaking a general examination of the country adjoining the Carrow Hills, states that Mr. Medlicott will leave Calcutta by Railway and steamer tomorrow, and communicates the instructions that have been issued in the matter.
