Cauzee Ramjan Ali - With refer to his two Persian letters addressed since his return from Muttra informs that he has returned to Mr. Taylor the government order of the 27th July last & that he has not yet loct lepes in respect to the Muttra officer Brings to Notice that from the 27th July up to the 10th August when all the Darun authorities had left for Patna he took case of the treasury & jail as ex - officers Magistrate as applied by the late commissioner & allowed no distrurbances to take place throught surrsunded by disturbed districts of which government have been donbiless informed he has succeeded in a grant measure ot allery the irritation of the Behar populace in respect to government interference with their religion & if disired by government will go round the Behar Districts to paeify the people.
