(1) Disablement of the S.S. '' Umkuzi'' during a voyage with return emigrants from Natal owing to the defective condition of her propeller. (2) Proposed addition of a clause to Rule 102 of the Emigration Rules with a view to avoid defective ships being accepted for the carriage of emgirants.
