With effect from March 13, 1930, Mr. G.C. Shannon was granted leave to serve as I.C.S. (Bombay) Judicial Commissioner in the States of Western India. Mr. D.R. Norman was appointed to serve in Mr. Shannon's place, and Mr. Rao Bahadur H.N. Gosalia was appointed to serve as District and Sessions Judge in Kathiawar and an additional District and Sessions Judge in Banas Kantha in Mr. Norman's place.
