Lt. R.F. Goodwin of the Suffolk Regiment was appointed as P.A. to the Resident in Hyderabad in addition to his other responsibilities from July 4 to July 27, 1931, receiving his Army pay and allowance as well as a special remuneration of Rs. 100/- per hour. Lt. Mohd Ayub Khan of the 1/14th Punjab Regiment was temporarily hired as a personal assistant to the resident of Hyderabad with effect from July 28, 1931, and was given a special pay of Rs. 100 per month in addition to his lease income under Army Regulations.
