It also transmits a copy of a letter from the Bishop of Madras, forwarding a letter from the Rev. J. Richards, Chaplain of St. Thomas's Mount, challenging the accuracy of Mr. Macfarlane's estimation of the number of members of the Established Church of Scotland at St. Thomas's Mount and Secunderabad, as well as in the Madras Artillery on the whole
