Representation from the Special Class Apprentices of the 1942 group for increase in the rate of stipened while under training in the United Kingdom. Decision:-(i) to increase the rate of stipened to 400/- per annum, (ii) to grant to Mr. N. Padmanathan, Electrical Traction probationer an amount equal to the difference between 400/- per annum and his emoluments and (iii) to grant to all special class Apprentices and probationers sent to the U.K. an equipment allowance of Rs. 500/- p.m
