Eastern Railway reforms involving an issue in the pay fixation of Passenger Guides as a result of the implementation of the Authorised Pay scale. Decision: The Board of Directors did not consent to the salary of the directly recruited Passenger Guides in the Prescribed Scales of Rs. 150-225 and Rs. 100-185 (whose scales were treated as personal to them) being fixed in the Authorised Scales of Rs. 205-280 and Rs. 150-240, respectively
