Relaxation of pay of Shri K.K Gupta at Rs 410- P.M. with effect from 4.7.56. 3. Boards decision that :- 1. Consistent with the policy of permitting temporary officers to retain their lines in the parent departments/State Governments without in volving the Railway Administrations into any financial Commitment: the officers concerned should not be permitted to carry forward such leave. 2. However, to obviate any hardship to the officers who liens have been retained by their previous employers, the Board have decided that when such officers apply for leave in excess of what they have earned on the Railway, they should be given leaves to the extent earned during temporary employment the residual period being treated as L.W.P. subject to the condition that the total period of absence from duty does not exceed the limits laid down in the Railway Leave Rules. The Parent Departments of these given, it being left to the officers themselves and their previous employers to arrange for leave and leave salary for the period of L.W.P. granted. 3. The officers and their parent department should also be specially advised that this arrangement would not involve the Railways into any financial commitments and would not amount to Railways agreeing to the carry forward of leave earned by them prior to appointment on Railway
