It has been decided that the powers to grant permission to take up employment during L.P.R and after retirement delegated in terms of para 5 of Board's letter No. E56EM1/13/3 dated 31.2.1959, refereed to above, may also be exercised by the officers as specified there in rank of senior scale during terminal leave granted under the provision of section VII of chapter VII- R.I., or while they are on leave which is allowed to run concurrently with the period of notice in accordance with the orders contained in Board's letter No. E51RN1/2/2 dated 7-1-1952
