Western Railway Pension Scheme. Reference regarding the quantum of pensionary benefits admissible to Railway servants whose services are terminated under the notice clause, in terms of Rule 148-RI-etc. Decided that:-(i) A Rly. servant whose services are terminated by the Railway administration in term of Rule 148-RI, would be eligible for pensionary benefits as the would have been entitled to, if he was invalidated out of service on the date from which his services are terminated. (ii) Where notice is given by employee himself he would not get pension unless he is qualified to receive pension under the ordinary rule relating to pensions. Permission given to receive option for pension/PF within 3 months from 13-5-59
