With reference to letter No.2246, dated 7th November 1859, authorizing the remission of a portion of sentence of certain short-term Burmese prisoners transported from Rangoon to Port Blair in November 1859, enquiries whether this indulgence be extended to those short-term Burmese prisoners who have arrived there since those above referred to have been either released or re-transferred.
