Amendment of the Burma opium rules in order to give effect to the inroduction, from Ist April 1912, of Government opium, in place of foreign opium, in the four northern districts of the Mandalay Division of Upper Burma. Cancellation of the Finance and Commerce Department Notification No.948 S. R., dated 17th February 1896, which imposed a duty of Rs.17 a viss on all opium imported into Upper Burma (except the Shan States).
