General Provident Fund. Disposal of the ---- balance of a subscriber who retires from service but dies before payment can be made to him. Accounts Officers authorised to make payment without any reference to the Govt. of India, when the amount involved does not exceed Rs. 100/- to the person appearing to him to be legally entitled to the money, without requiring such person to take out Probate, Letters of Administration or a Succession Certificate, as the case may be, an indemnity bond, however being taken in certain circumstances.
