Ruling given by the Legislative Dept. that proviso (a) to sub-section 4(1) of the Workmen`s Compensation Act 1923 is applicable to clauses A, B, C and D of that sub-section Decision to continue the present policy under which proviso (a) does not apply to the cases coverd by Disability Leave Hospital leave sea men`s such leave framed under clause 4(1) D of the Act.
