To Marine Board - In reply - Approves the several suggestions contained in paras 2 to 6 regarding the equipment of the Vessels. Captains West to Command the Erawuddy and Mr. Jump the Ganges on a monthly Salary of 400 Rupees each. and an extra allowance of 100 Rupees when the Vessels are employed as aimed Vessels each vessel to have a first and 2nd. Officer on the Salaries noted within - Approves the measure of placing the Government Steam Vessels on a Uniform footing with regard to Table allowance.
