Expenditure incurred under certain grant heads subordinate to `46-Army` in excess of the Budget Estimates and extra grants for 1892-93, sanctioned. Circular issued by the Military Department to all Local Heads of its Subordinate Departments reminding them of their responsibility for the economical and efficient working of their Departments, and directing them to make prompt report to the Government of India through the Controller of Military Accounts concerned whenever it appears that the total provision for expenditure under any head of a circle is likely to be exceeded.
