Letter from the Board of Trade, recommending that the sum allotted for the provision of the investment for 1786-87 as ordered by the Court of Directors in their letter, dated the 15th September, 1785, be considerably increased in order to enable cargoes each amounting to 14 lakhs or rupees to be laden on the several ships of the season, and proposing that the increase be devoted to the provision of indigo, raw sillk and piece goods.
