Letter from Mr.Thomas Graham, Acting Comptroller of Grain stating that under the orders of the Committee of Grain, stating that under the orders of the Commitee of grain Mr.Charles Grant, Commercial Resident at Malda, seized a quantity of paddy belonging to the grain dealers who infringed the prohibition of the Government against monopolising grain enclosing a copy of a letter with its enclosures from Mr.Grant reecommanding that Mr.Grant may be asked to restore the quantity still in his hands to the owners , and complaining against the conduct of Biddadur Das, gomastah.
