Draft of a letter to the President and Council of Fort St. George, intimating the depatch of the Queen and the Fortitude laden with grain and military stores, stating that the Southampton has been despatched to Bombay for repairs, requesting particular statements of the money advanced and the marine stores delivered by them for the use of the Snows Indus and Intelligence, forwarding a copy of a letter with encosues from the Agent for supplies regarding the deficiency in the cargo of the Crespigny landed at Fort St. George, reporting that the six lakhs of rupees in specie, which were put on board the Active Frigate for despatch, have had to be brought off on shore again, as the ship has sprung a leak, and enclosing Capt. Burringtons receipt for Arcot rupees 4,000 as well as a copy of the Military Paymaster Generals account current with the Presidency of Fort St. George.
