Leter from the President and Council of Fort St. George, acknowledging the receipt of the treasusre consigned to them per ships Coventry, Nymph and Chaser, intimating the publi cation of all the Board`s advertisements concerning loans and the rate of exchange fixed between sicca rupees and pagodas, acquainting the Board with the sets of bills they have drawn on them, reporting the despatch of the fortitudem the Valentine and the Queens to Bengal for a consignment of rice and the arrival of the Southampton and Essex, and requesting that the surplus tonnage of the ships for Fort St. George may be filled with rice.
