Letter from Mr.Francis Fowke, Resident at Beneres, forwarding seven bills of exchange for the sum of Calcutta sicca rupees 1,63,396-1-17 drawn in favour of the Company being the balance of Raja Cheyt Sing kist due the 4th ultimo after deducting from it the monthly allowance of Nabob Saadut Ally Cawn, and stating that he has not demanded the fine of one lakh of rupees from the Raja as he subsidy before the receipt of the Board letter.
