Minute of the Board determining the measures to be adopted to give effect to the provisions of the new act of Parliament , nominating the justice of the peace for the town of Calcutta at a salary of sicca rupees 800 a month abolishing the existing office and establishment under the Superintendent of Police, transffering the work of policing to the control of the justices ,regulating the grant of licences for liquor shops and the assesment of police and other taxes in calcutta and forming plans for the gradual investment of the magistrate in Bengal with the powers of Justices of the Peace.
