To I. Prince Esquire late Acting Resident - In reply to the foregoing dispatches and stating that it is not the intention of Government to found any further proceedings on the reports of Mr. Lewis relative to the refusal of the Dutch Government to permitted the departure of the Coffrees and Convicts, until it shall have been apprized of the result of the representations he was charged to address to the Dutch authorities on the subject an order on the Treasury for Sum of Rs. 19597.3. has been issued in favor of Mr. Lewis Agents on account of the expences in curred by him for the removal and the Coffrees and Convicts.
