To Director General - In reply states that it would not be advisable to deprive the Public of the benefit of the two Anna pale green stamps, sent out from England , as it is not likely that the green two Anna will be mistaken for the blue half Anna Stamp but to guard against the Post Office Clerks from committing an error -suggests that a specimen of each kind be placed before them when working by Candle Light. The Honble Court will however be requested to direct the contractors to adopt some other color for the next supply of two Anna Stamp.
