From Superintendent Geological Survey - Reports on the correspondence seat to him relative the occurrance of Gold in the Dummal Hills recently visited and examined by Mr. Elliott. Is of opinion that no advantage could result from the publication of Mr. Elliotts reports oon the subject and that there is no sufficient ground for depecting any one to examone the limited area affording from prospects while there an others holding out for hether ones. Notices that Mr. Elliot does not mention the Platinum which is reported tobe met with in the localityin question.
