H. Piddington Esquire - As he finds from the Public Newspapers that Government is desious of introducing the Quiniue yiclding Cinchona plant into India Submits in aid of its efforts a Memo drawn up by him on the subject of its made of introduction and Oulture accompanied by a specimen of the recly Soil on which the plant is Cultirated. Remarks on the propperties of the Extract of the Golomcha as a substitute for Quiniue and forwards a specimen bottle of a new preparation which he has named Indianine from a common Indian plant. The Extract is said to be a good febrifuge.
