To Secretary - In reply concurs in opinion with the Post Master General at Bombay that the British Packet Postage new prescribed must Supersede the Ship Postage here to fore levired under the Indian Post Office ac on the letters Etc. conveyed from aden by the Peninsular Companys steamers Rensons why the Ship Postage cannot be levied and should cease Refers to Notifications of the Government of India of 17th January 1838 adn 5th June 1839 respecting Steam Postage.
