Compnay can only give general instructions to the coal agent at galee to supply government vessels as for as he can with safety to the mail line, unless government will guarantee him from blance if failure in the transmissions & Mail meen have herever been instructed to send 1,000 Tons from each port to Galee if Possible a large quantity is expected from England at Singapore of Instruction could be given to send a portion of it to galee Captain Lovell would issue express orders on the subject of supply # wants at that place should it be unpracticable to give such a gurantee as Captain Lovell requires Berodwan or other coal Must be shipped for Ceylon.
