To Chief Secretary - Acknowledges the foregoing and with reference to the remuneration of the administration General at Madras states that in place of allowing hijm to hold any Office in the Superintendant Court in conunction with his own except the Eecl. Registrarshop the G. G. in C. considers it preferable to allow him such monthly salary as added to the amount of his Commissions cabulated upon an average of the last 3 years will give him a clean income of 1200 Rs. per month and the Madras Government is accordingly authorized to pass such salary to that Office.
