To - With reference to the foregoing Report states that the Honble Court will be moved to send a property aualified Collector to america to collect and bring to India a sufficient quantity of the best sperices of Circhona Enquiries can be instituted as to the # in this country best awited to the plants when the Honble Court shall have expressed their views on the proposal. The Government of the straits settlements will also be requested to communicate with the Governor General of the Notherlands India in order to obtain from H. E. awy information or suggestion which the recent experience of the authorities of Java may suable him to offer as to the parts in south america where the best plants should be # and as to their culture in the East.
