Norman Chevers Esquire - with reference to letter of the 15th December 1854 informs that he has again printed his Report Medical Jurisprudence to which a large number of important details have been added with much care & that its title has been altered to a manual of Medical Jurisprudence for Bengal & the North Western Provinces - States that he has requested the Superintendent of the Military Orphan Press to forward a 400 copies to this office with his account for printing charges etc & that he has retained 100 copies for which he offers his respectful thanks for the reasons explained requests permission to prepare a Second Edition at the expiration of one or two years.
