From Director General - Submits for consideration two letters from the Post Master General N. W. P. representing the difficulty which is experioned in finding property qualified pensions for employment in the Post Office Department and recommending the adoption of a measure which the Director General think will at a comparatively trifling cost in some degree tend to conect it . As an experiment solicits sanction to the grant for one year of an allowance of 100 Rs. per month for each of the Presid. for subsistence of appreatices to be entertained at the Chief Post Offices in each Presidency proposes also that no apprentice should receive an allowance for more than four months and that the maximum allowance to any apprentice should be 12 Rs. per month
