To Secretary - In transmitting 10 printed Copies of Mr. Henwoods report on the inctalliferous deposits of Kumaon and Garhwal communicates the desirability of placing the # experment and smetting of Iron under the Commissioner Kumaon and the control of the undertaking by the Government A.N.P. Authorizes sanction of any reasonable outlay for the mining and smelting operations to be carried on at Burralgaon. Calls for a report of the Mining operation in Kumaon at the close of 1855/ 56 and requests the new Mine discoverd by Mr. Renwood may be explored if necessary.
