To Secretary Government N.W.P. - With reference to his letter dated 9th Ultimo and to the Correspondence which preceded it relative to the appointment and remuneration of Inspectors of Schools in the N.W.P. Communicates the Observations of Government thereon and in amendment of the orders of the 21st September last states that it has been determined to fix the salaries of the 4 Inspectors as recommended by the Lieutenant Governors that is to say that there shall be 3 Inspectors on Salaries varying from Rs. 800 to 1200 a Month and one for the Sangor and Nerbudda Territories on a Salary varying from Rs. 700 to Rs. 400 a Month.
