From - With reference to a Despatch from the Court of Despatch No. 21 of 1855 forwards a Resolution in which it is rules that such Uncovenanted servants employed in the Public Works Department as receive salaries above Rs. 10 per month shall be eligible to the benefit of the Pension Rules of the 4th January 1831 and that Uncovenanted Servants hereafter appointed drawing salaries of 700 to 1000 Rs. a month shall not be entitled to a layer mensem than Rs. 4,000 per annum nor those receiving larger salaries shall be allowed to draw a # pension than Rs. 5,000 per annum.
