Henwood Esquire - In reply states that Extract from his report will be sent to the Government of North West Provinces & attention drawn to the Wanton Destruction of the Forests with regard to Mr. Davies contumacious conduct desires, that he be warned that this is the second time he has been brought under the notice of Government, & that if he persists in not Cheer fully aiding in the objets of the Mission the Condition of his covenant will be enforced with reference to Para 23 of his report calls for a Statement of the probable amount of Expenditure that will be necessary for opening galleries & introducing the Wheelbarrow in all the mines except Pokree - Does not consider it desirable to direct his Assistant Mr. Gray from his proper duties to Search after Gold in the Upper parts of the Ewer Alukunfee as suggested in Para 29.
