From Mr. E. D. Hunter - Encloses a note from the Commissioner of Benares, handing him by order of the Government North West Provinces a Treasury draft for Rs. 200 without an instruction as to whether it is an Assistance or compensation money, & this small sum would indeed be an in adequate compensation for the losses sustained by him, as he had hoped to obtain a lucrative employment but as failing health induces him to leave this Country he would therefore be glad to Government to compensate him by providing him with a passage to England & grant him Pound 200 or whatever sum it may think fit.
