To Secy- in replay to the for going, states 1st- that the Magistrate in not to prohibhit or to permit or in any way regulate or interfere with any of the observancas or ceremonies conducted with the Temple, whether in relation to the opening or closing of the Doors or in any other respect. 2nd- that all such arrangements are to the left to the unfettered discretion of the Supdt. who will be held responsible for any breach of the peace arrising therefrom together within theTemple. 3rd- that the Suprdt. is to be made to understand and to cause it to be generraly understood by others, that all proceeding regarding the worship of pilgrins or there admission to or exclusion form the Temple are regulated not by the Magistrate but by the Supdt. himself on his own sole responsibility.
