Superentendent Geological Survey - With reference to this office docket No 21st date 25 Ultimo states that the specimen of on which accompd it, is a good seih on and contains Silver of suffieient quaility to pay for its extraction which could be economucally cleaned and dreped for the mardet but it is impossible to decide as to working a lode of ore with profit from any hand specimens His seldon that had on is smilted on the spot rspecially if is contains silver to extract which, skilled labor and redmated superin # as will as uppensive apparatus are required It would to desirable to ascertain in what quantity and under what circumstances the ore accurs - If sent to Calcutta in its crude state it will command a market when future operation could be regrelated by asccrtaining the real value fo the ore.
