To Secretary - Trunsmits Copy of a Despatch no 155 of 1857 date 16th Dectmber from the Honble Court reviewing miscellaueous proceedings relating to the Revolt and draws attention to Para 6 relating to Mr. Vinables and also to Para 9 and requests a co,plete Statement of Native Chiefs and landowners may be prepared -The Presidency in Council trusts that no measures be omitted to give effect to the Honble Court wishes in respect to discovering and rewarding those natives who have befriended Europeans and other Christions during hte reunt troubles.
