Company in conduction of their supplying government vessels with coal as required & from Enquires made of captain Lovell to sums that no return of the remains of coal of galle has been received by him since the end of June when 6000 # were in store but an offer has been made to Cuppr Lwell to buy up from him over more cargoes of coal of loat in Calcutta for the purpose of sending it to point degallee the Bombay government might be adked to sned 500o Tans to gallee where about 10,000 Medical appear to be necessary & ifa stock is not expected from England for the occasion Burdwan coal must be despatched the steamer Auckland is the only steamer that could be spared from calcutta to tow ships arriving from England with Troops and private steamer may be herid for this service if required & sug
