Bengal and proposing that the Vernacular Library now being collected in the Bengal Secretariat be deposited in the Society's Rooms, were they will be more useful and more easily accessible to the public. Urges the necessity of enacting some such Law as prevails in England, requiring the deposit with Government of a certain number of copies of every work published.

The National Archives of India is on a mission to digitize and make available online each and every record in its repositories. This is an ongoing effort and some records will be made available before the others.
