To Governor - States that the Right Honble the Secretary of State for India has granted an extension of leave for 6 months on Medical Certificate to Mr. Thomas Braddell Assistant to the Resident Councillor at Penang. Mr. Braddell has represented that his pay has been stopped at the Penang Treasury in consequence of the extension of leave last granted to leave. This was communicated to him in this office letter No. 368 dated the 23rd February last.
