Proposal to promulgate an ordinacne to amend the payment of wages act to provide that in the case of wages paid weekly or at longer intervals the employees may wages for a particular wage period rounded off to the nearest higher rupee or a coin of lesser denomination, if available and to authorise deduction of the excess payment from the wages of the next wage period.
