With refrence to G.O no 196, of the 20th may 1848.forwards copy letter from the adjut General of the madras army, with the Roll of quater master serjt I. faylor, of the Body guard of that presidency who is recommended, by the C.in C. there for the madras and ammity of 15th and intimates that the C.in C. india concur in the recommendations.
